VEGAN DOGS
In a perfect world no animal would be killed for any product. One of the things that I have been unsure about is feeding my dogs. Fortunately, there are now more options for vegan dog food.
I also try to come up with vegan snacks for them. I cut sweet potato into bite sized pieces and bake until soft. They love cooked carrots, broccoli, brussels sprouts, etc. They won't eat raw carrots unless they are dipped in something like hummus.
(Note: I don't know for sure if all the ingredients in hummus are safe for dogs)
I don't give my dogs real bones to chew on but I give them Nylabones. I'm careful to not buy the Meat Flavored Nyla Bones because I don't know what is used for the flavoring.
Also, it's kind of messy but, sometimes I spread Almond Butter on their Nylabones and, of course, they love that.
