Hello. My name is Jessica.
As is with many of you, I have had A LOT of health issues. I’ve lived through many years in extreme physical pain, mostly undiagnosed.
Ever since my first pregnancy in 1993 I have had terrible problems with inflammation. It moves throughout my body affecting different areas at different times but, it has been very consistent in causing me excruciating pain when walking. Whether it be pain in my hips, thighs, knees, ankles or feet, I have spent many years dreading having to get up from a chair and walk.
A few years ago I went through a program which included a dietary detox and extreme dietary changes. I'm not in perfect health but I am in much better health and I am no longer in extreme pain 24/7.
I’m not saying that I am never in pain but my pain level is remarkably lessened.
During the above mentioned program I became Grain Free, *Sugar Free and Industrial Oil Free. These changes alone, though not always easy, helped me immensely.
After three years of consistency in this I became Vegan and, with this, I have received even more health benefits.
I will share with you some of the things I do and products I use, as well as general random thoughts and insights, in the hope that it might be of some help to you.

*By Sugar Free I am refering to refined, processed sugars. I do use various fruits and dried fruits.
TRUTH SEARCH
I am also a researcher of truth. Not that I know what the truth is.
All I know is that so many things that we are told and taught about Life, Health, History, Religion, Science, The Universe, etc. just don’t add up.

So, I’ve looked in to a lot of things. Gone down a lot of rabbit holes. I have a lot of opinions, but I don’t claim to know what is real and what is true.
​
A lot of these subjects are hard to believe, maybe overwhelming to even consider that they may be true. I understand that. I’ve been researching for many, many years and I still feel that way at times.
Maybe for you, baby steps. You don’t have to jump all the way in.

I’ve included in this website many of the items of my research. Things that resonate with me. Things that I can’t just ignore.
​
I know many of you will find some of my subjects offensive. Or you may be afraid to even look. That’s ok. If you don’t choose to look, then it’s not for you. I hope that you find some of the Product Suggestions, Recipes and Website Links helpful.

For those of you who do choose to look at some of the more controversial topics, if you’re not already familiar with these things, I hope that it helps to make you aware of things you may need to be aware of.
